It all started when I saw a small ad on a placemat, while on a vacation in Maine.  We went to a you-pick-em raspberry farm and on the way back passed an alpaca farm.  I insisted we stop.  It was the first time I saw an alpaca & I fell in love.  They were so cute and fluffy, with those big brown eyes...  After we returned home I started my search and found there are alpaca farms in every state, even within an hour of our home!  Now 7 years later, we are living our dream; from our home in New Orleans to our farm in Tennessee with alpacas, chickens and gardens.
